3 degrees in Usui Reiki
There are 3 degrees in Usui Reiki.
Each step has its own theme.
The First Degree
First Degree opens the energy circuit in your body, and it makes it possible for you to use Universal Life Force Energy.
You can learn about Usui Reiki by textbook lecture, by experienced Japanese Reiki Teacher.
As I mentioned in What is Reiki ? page, Reiki originated in Japan.
You can learn the brief history and other things by Japanese Master.
All 3 degrees take 2 days to complete.
Textbook lecture on the first day online, by using ZOOM.
And Reiki Attunement and Energy Treatment on the second day In Chiba-prefecture, Japan.
First Degree 460 USD or 72,000 JPY
The Second Degree
You get "symbols and mantras" in this step.
These are images and words that activate healing energy. And symbols and mantras make it possible to enhance the level of your healing vibration.
And from this degree, you can do "distance Reiki healing" , which means you can send energy to anyone in anywhere in the whole world (or "whole universe!").
First Degree 630 USD or 97,000 JPY
The Third Degree
The main theme of First and Second Degree is purification of your body and soul.
The Third Degree opens the way to getting to the level of "Ascension of your Consciousness" , Realizing Yourself, thus fulfilling the better life.
Smoothing and Recreating your life is the main theme of this degree.
You are going to learn "The Master Symbol" in this course.
It's the ultimate symbol in Usui Reiki, making it possible to synchronize yourself to the deep universe.

Usui Reiki Master's Degree
You get the qualification for doing Attunements to people by getting this degree.
You learn the basic skills for being a Reiki Healer / Teacher, and learn how to do Reiki Attunements.
This degree requires you to have The Third Degree of Usui Reiki.

How long does it take to finish those courses?
You can take First degree and Second Degree anytime you want. It is possible to take both degrees at a time (actually, it takes 3 days to finish First and Second Degree, 2days for online lecture and one day for face-to-face attunement).
But, at least 3 weeks are needed to go on to Third Degree, after finish Second Degree.
The reason for this is that you need "purification period" after Second Degree.
Reiki has a power to purify negative vibrations in your body and aura.
This means it is the best choice to take time to get yourself used to the new and high vibration that you get in First and Second Degree.
If you live outside Japan, it may be bothering to come to Japan at least 2 times to finish Usui Reiki Practitioner's course.
